Scientology: The Empty Wallet Of An Indian Tourist

war l ron hubbard A good post from an Indian visiting the Scientology Center discusses L. Ron Hubbard's World War II service.

I began my trip to the Center with an exploration of L Ron Hubbard’s life – my tour guide, June, went through childhood to death, telling me of all the wonderful things that L Ron Hubbard did in his life (many of which are false; for example, the display said Hubbard was a heavily decorated WWII soldier, earning 21 medals of honor. Unfortunately, his US Navy record indicates he was awarded just four routine medals - the American Defense Service Medal, awarded to everyone serving at the time of Pearl Harbor, the American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the World War Two Victory Medal, this last received by everyone serving on V-J Day).

This article gives a very nice view of the mind control techniques the cult of scientology uses to lure new members. The cult is supposed to lead you on "the ridge to total freedom". But isn't a bridge supposed to bring one to the other side? This bridge leads to nowhere: not to clear, not to OT (as there are NO clears and NO person with the supposed OT powers). It is merely a pier, leading to the deep waters of total dependency, disconnection, financial ruin and obedience to a totalitarian, dictatorial and undemocratic organization which can be compaired to North Korea.
